Once you've worked up an appetite from all your exploring, make your way to The Liquorice Café based in the Visitor Centre. Offering a wide selection of hot and cold refreshments with daily specials and seasonal menu variations, there's something to suit all tastes.

Gluten free and vegetarian options are also available, and we have a special lunchbox for smaller visitors, with a filled sandwich, yoghurt, drink, fruit or bag of crisps. There's also a stash of books and crayons to keep them busy while you enjoy your lunch.

There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, or if you're feeling more adventurous (and the weather allows!), you can picnic on the grassy spaces around the castle.

Don't forget to pick up your loyalty card that can be used here, The Boat House Café at Pugneys Country Park, The Woodland Café at Anglers Country Park and at Sun Lane Leisure Centre.
